Default Where is the low roller in a 4l60e?

Hey guys, I recently had my rear end go out, which I believe has resulted in a low roller and or forward sprag failure, and I plan to tear my transmission down to replace them, but I can't seem to find out where in the case the low roller sits, is it in the low reverse drum? Also would anyone reccomend against tearing the transmission down just far enough to replace these and then putting it back together (provided there's no metal shavings or other major damage) it drove fine prior to the rear end going out, and this will be my first time in a transmission, so I'd really prefer not to get too in depth if I don't need to.

The low roller is basically the backing plate for the low/reverse clutch. You'll need to take the rear gear set out to clean it ideally since by the time you get that far it's just a matter of pulling it out.

At this point it will be an empty case with the low/rev piston in it.

To get to the foward sprag you have to empty out the foward drum, you don't really need to compress the spring retainer and take the pistons out unless there's a lot of metal. So that's less hassle and special tools. But it would be a good idea to air check the pistons when the clutches are back in.
