I am about to pick up a 2002 2500hd 6.0L and the planetary gear is stripped but still kickin. I have a 2009 1500 wt 4.3L with a 5.3L conversion kit for the 4l60e. My question is can I put the clutches, steel plates, etc..from the 4l80e in the input drum of the 4l60e, minus the planetary gear?

4L60E parts and 4L80E parts are not interchangeable.
