4l60e bucking/surging
I have a 05 5.3l that I took out of a suburban and out into a 67 fj40. I am running into huge issues with the 4l60e. For some reason it shifts great into 1,2, and 3 (a little rough in shifting when cold) but as soon as it should go into 4th (around 40-45 mph where rpms should drop) it loses complete power and then gains power and then loses power and continues. It is basically "bucking" or "surging". I was told this can be an issue from the MAF sensor being too close to the throttle body and getting bad readings. I was also told it could be the TCC solenoid but it happens when I manually put it into D and not OD and it also happens when I hold the brake and accelerate. I have a replacement TCC solenoid on the way because the one that was in there only read 10 ohms and after researching they should be around 20-30 ohms. I will update if this fixes the issue. does anyone have any other ideas??? I am running out and am about to say F-it and buy a new tranny to see if thats the issue. Please let me know your ideas. Also, i have checked fuel pressure and it is solid at all stages even when i get the tranny "bucking". Fuel trims look moderately good as well as brand new O2 sensors. the only codes that I have are P0480 and P0481 (I am not running a PCM controlled fan) and P0650 (i do not currently have a lightbulb hooked up to my malfunction indicator lamp supply ground wire).
