94 4L60E -Compatibility
I am not certain what year it is. It has the 93-94 TCC valve, no PWM solenoid for the TCC. The 3-2 Solenoid is the new (on/off) style. The pressure control solenoid looks current.
My plan is to finish putting it back together (once my new '94 separator plate and shift solenoids arrive) and run it behind a 4.8 with an adapter flex plate, new torque converter for a 94 k1500, and use the 00 or 02 pcm to control it. I was going to keep the harness inside the trans that it came with and modify the engine harness to have ~25 ohm 5 watt resistor to simulate the TCC PWM solenoid.
Thoughts, challenges?
A. just get a TCC solenoid, plug it in, and let it sit in the pan.
B. Turn off any codes for TCC in the pcm
C. do what you've described
Sounds like you understand the issue and how to fix already. Kudos
My internal harness doesn't have the connector for the solenoid, which is why I was thinking of going external.
Thanks!
So...I can't say with full certainty.
I don't see why not.
The On/Off solenoid for TCC should work the same, and the shift noids/epc should work fine.
As long as you set to no error reported, I don't see any reason it wouldn't work
