Default 4l80e shaft play

Hey guys I tried putting my 6.0 long crank With the wrong converter. Circle D told me they made a mistake and did not change the face to one that would work with my application.

I’m a little bit worried that this transmission pump is toast. May have pushed the input shaft and ruined the pump....

is this play normal ?

so, your video is hard to see, but usually an 80e has two "clunks" when pulling on the input shaft One to bottom out the input shaft "float" that it has between the snap ring and OD carrier. The other is actual endplay.

Only way to tell for sure if anything is damaged is to take it apart and have a look
