My truck with a 4l60 start in second and shift to third i dont have 1st or 4th even when I shift manually it start in second I changed the a solenoid and it still wont shift the valve move freely plus no codes. Any help would be appreciated. 2nd and 3rd it run strong no slipping

 

3-2 solenoid would not cause this. It is only used to regulate oil for 2-3 and 3-2 band/clutch release apply at lower throttles and does not have means to feed the band to cause second when first is commanded and has nothing to do with 4th.

 

Ok thank you I have tried everything I can think of and with no codes Im lost... i guess ill have tonremove the trans andtake it back to the shop. I dont have 40 miles on the trans thats whats so strange

 

I told ya remove vb AND CHECK those orifices to the solenoid.
