4L60e Behind New LT1
I have a customer that brought me a direct injected new 6.2L LT1 engine out of a 2017 base vette including the harness and ECU (no transmission). I have a complete 4L60e, harness and t42 tcm, Is it as simple as wiring the t42 to the CAN BUS of the vehicle (its swapped) and then in ecu tuning software (such as HPTUNERS) I can edit things such as sift timing and scheduling in the T42?
Yes, I have tried searching, and also using google and I feel as if I am using the incorrect terminology as information on what ECU's use what CAN BUS protocols along with TCM information is sparse in terms of retro fitting.

No experience.
But, physically you can make it fit no problem. GM used the same standard bolt pattern and if you can figure out crank/flexplate/converter and spacing (which guys still struggle with on SBC and LS which has been out forever) then you'll be fine.
The E92 ecm for the genV "LT1" should communicate via CAN with the T42
I think guys have done this with 4l80e swaps so I see no reason that it could not be done with a 60e...because the t42 runs 60e
The T42 can also be run standalone, so it seems like you'll be in luck.
