Looking for info on the TransGo 4L60E-3
I have a l92 and a 4l70. I came across this: https://transgo.com/product-details/4l60e-3/
I'm pretty ignorant to this setup.
This seems like a good fit for my build. The question I have is how do I physically shift the trans with this setup?

What are you looking to do, in terms of transmission control?
Do you want a full-manual valve-body (meaning no automatic shifts)?
That TransGo "shift kit" was designed at a time when the 4L60E was relatively new...
Back then, the line pressure (via the PCM and EPC solenoid) did not raise fast enough in relation to load/ input from the driver of the vehicle.
The electronic monitoring and control were too slow back then... slipping and burning would occur.
One possible fix was to use a vacuum modulator instead of the slow PCM and EPC solenoid.
Using vacuum modulation to raise line pressure was a faster method of line pressure control back then.
However there is no need for this today... as newer technology (PCM and EPC) can now raise the line pressure much faster, and to the proper amount needed.

I don’t have any transmission control at the moment. My L92 is running on the GM stand alone setup so the motor could run like it was attached to a standard trans if I want.
this seems like a simple solution to shifting the trans.
I came across this option as I was looking into standard trans options. I already have a built 4l70 so this seems like it may be a good compromise.
how do I shift it though?
