Default 4160e shifting problems

Hi. Any help is much appreciated. Driving at 120 km per hour in cruise control, approaching a hill the trans downshifts. The engine hits large revs and trans is not engaged. Pull off and realize there is a pin hole leak in trans line. Drive to nearest exit and fix line with rubber and hose clamp. Fill trans up and tranny is not shifting properly. 1st to 2nd - perfect. 2nd to 3rd it revs up until I let throttle off and it will shift to 3rd. No shift from 3rd to 4th. Manual shifting, there is no slipping in 1st ,2nd, or 3rd. Changed filter an probably most trans fluid due to leak and filter change. Thanks in advance for any advise.

Forgot. While manual shifting, it will not go into 3rd until I put in in drive. Thanks

Hello,
When I had a clamp break on my cooler line, it burned up my 3-4 clutch pack. It worked for about 200 miles after I fixed the line leak but gave me a 400 mile trip home in 2nd gear at 40 mph!
What did your fluid look like?
