Default 2001 ls1 flexplate spacer?

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I will give it a shot on here.

I have 2001 ls1 out of a wrecked Pontiac fire hawk. The car originally had a manual transmission, however it was sold when I got the motor and I was planning on a automatic transmission anyways. So I had to purchase a new flex plate and I went with the TCI-SFI part number 399753. This flex plate came with the spacer sleeve but I’m just making sure I have the right one. My transmission is a 4l65e. My question is do I need a spacer for this set up. I have searched around and some same you need the spacer that goes in between the crack and flexplate and others just say you need the sleeve in the center of the flexplate.
