4l80e bolts without crank extension

Hey guys, got a 6.0 gen 3 truck engine. Converting over to a circle d converter and it requires a 4l60e flex plate without the crank extension. Like a moron grabbed the long bolts that came out of the crank and hammered a couple down. Then light dawned on Marblehead and I realized I was using the wrong bolts. Grabbed some out of a 5.3 to compare.yup way shorter. What kind of damage could those long bolts have done?

Mainly to the threads, if at all. Be a little more precise in what you did.
Ever heard of "test fitting" before "hammering" anything together??

touché! In my in defensible self defense it was a test fit(only used the 3/8th impact

, plus so many of these ls fasteners are interchangeable!
what’s directly behind the crank flange? These bolts are like 1/4 to 3/8ths longer than the 5.3 bolts. Any seals I could have blown out? Motors in the car but pretty far from starting up. Could pull it and pull the pan and rear cover.
