Default Aftermarket parts selection VS (4l60e)

Hello!

Im going to build my 2009 4l60e - 9TDD(With speed sensor) of a stock trailblazer with Torque management removed completely. I ride with WOT only hahah. (Current stall speed is 2000 RPM)with big tires and i would like to ask about a difference of some items. what is the best for durability, dialy driver that locking the gears like a champ with less slippage as possible :

1. 13 vane pump vs 10 vane pump vs billet?

2. Sonnax Boost Valve vs .500 Transgo Boost valve?

3. Raybestos GPZ vs blues vs Alto Red Eagle vs Borg Warner High's?

4. Kevlar Band vs High Energy band vs Carbon band?

5. Transtec seals kit vs raybestos seal kit or?

6. Regular 3/4 pistons vs blue 3/4 pistons vs bonded 3/4 pistons?

7. Sonnax TCC Isolator(I have the tool) vs blocking the valve?

8. Sonnax pinless pistons vs OEM new?

9. OEM Steels vs Kolene?

Thanks!

Just a quick note...

The 2009 Models use an Internal-Mode Switch and are not compatible with 4L60E PCMs before 2009.

You would have to replace the 2009 Valve-body, all Electrical Components, Shift-Linkage with parts from an earlier Transmission.

Yup, my TB has a dedicated TCM wich was separated from the PCM from the factory. They started doing that in 2008 on TB's once they changed to x58 reluctor on the crank and i think they put E40 in it?

My new TB is 2009

So this is not for your 2004 Trail-Blazer then?

Just so you know... 2008 Trail-Blazers still you a Pressure Manifold Switch and NOT an Internal Mode Switch.

Just make certain that you use the appropriate PCM/ TCM for the correct Valve-Body design... they are not interchangeable.

1. 13 vane pump vs 10 vane pump vs billet? I see no need for the 13-Vane Pump Rotor... Maybe with a small Diesel Engine application. Use a 10-Vane unless the engine Revs past 6,500 RPM, the go to a 7-Vane. Billet Rotors should not be needed at all.

2. Sonnax Boost Valve vs .500 Transgo Boost valve? Does not matter.

3. Raybestos GPZ vs blues vs Alto Red Eagle vs Borg Warner High's? For Which Clutch? ... Not all Clutch Packs behave the same/ serve the same function.

4. Kevlar Band vs High Energy band vs Carbon band? Kevlar does not belong in a 4L60E... both the High-Energy and Carbonite Band work well.

5. Transtec seals kit vs raybestos seal kit or? Does not matter.

6. Regular 3/4 pistons vs blue 3/4 pistons vs bonded 3/4 pistons? Just use the Stock Bonded Pistons (unless using an aftermarket Drum that requires something else)... Those "Blue" Pistons are not needed.

7. Sonnax TCC Isolator(I have the tool) vs blocking the valve? User preference for TCC engagement feel...

8. Sonnax pinless pistons vs OEM new? The aluminum GM Pistons are great... but you can still get 100,000 miles out of the plastic pistons too (don't overheat the Transmission too many times though, they will crack).

9. OEM Steels vs Kolene? Kolene is not needed at all... however I do like to use it in a tight 3-4 Clutch. Otherwise Kolene will reduce how well the clutch applies... opposite of what you want most of the time.

Thanks!
