Nice recommendations.

I wouldn't purchase an over-sized Pressure-Regulator valve (or any valve) before vacuum-testing.
I do not like the Superior Transmission 4th Servo design with the Lip-Seal on the Piston... the Sonnax version is very nice though.
I also would stay with the OEM Borg-Warner Frictions instead of the Stage-1 frictions (I do actually really like these in other applications).
The GPZ Frictions are great for the 3-4 Clutch, just like the OEM High-Energy Frictions.

If you look at the line for stage 1 it doesn't show a location for 3-4 frictions. That is because I recommend the 4L75 drum with 8 oversized Raybestos GPZ frictions. It also shows an upgrade to the actual 4L79 drum with the screw on cap. See 4L79.com for a full description of those drums. Personally I have had good luck with the Superior 4th servo. It plays well with the corvette servo.
To each their own.

If your taking in to someone for assembly,, why not let them get the parts,, that way its all their work...
I personally quit letting folks hand me parts about 20 years ago.. Too much hassle and no gain for me.
Especially when you tell the customer they brought the wrong part and they drag you down the internet path of pain to try and prove you wrong.

When I did take their parts is was "NO WARRANTY OF ANY SORT.. " Too many counterfeit parts out there..

I stock the Sonnax oversized valve and working on mostly 98-2006 model year units. I'm finding that 95% of them are testing at 15" vacuum. after a ream they test at 23-24" vacuum. If I don't need it, it gets put in stock for another job. If you only do 1 type unit you know you'll need it eventually.
I have very good luck with Superior 4th servo.
I almost exclusivly use GPZ-105's and .095 Lindered steels for the 3-4. I have used the GPZ-100 and .077 steels, both give a good clearance for a 7 friction stack. B/W hi energy is my go to for stock, but I still use the 4L65E frictions for a 7 friction stack.
