Default 4l60e family Corvette Pan and Filter

I was thinking of the shape and sump placement of the Corvette pan & filter, and it brought back memories of Moroso and other brands of oil pans with trap doors; without redesigning the 4l60/65/70/75e pan, wouldn't the Vette pan & filter be the best of all the factory pans, and if so, why not use it on all our transmissions, if it doesn't cause ground clearance problems? [Note: this is NOT a question why GM didn't incorporate it on more production vehicles, just anybody here sticking with a stamped steel non-cast aluminum pan.] Thanks for any replies.

The deep stamped steel truck pan and filter seem to work the best. The stock shallow pans tend to be sucked dry under hard high RMP pulls unless over filled.

Thanks. I would have thought the truck pan has the worst slosh control and the Vette pan at least has its pickup down in the deepest part. Maybe I'm just overthinking things. Thanks again.

Yes over thinking. Slosh is not an issue, the valve body and filter sets down into the pan and stops a lot of slosh.
