Default Two questions regarding my TC/FP setup

Hello,

I recently purchased a used FTI TC made for an LT (long crankshaft) that I'll be using on my 04 6.0L (short crankshaft). I'm using the OEM FP with the built in spacer, my question is do I need a pilot extender with this setup? I don't believe I do due to my FP having the built in spacer but I'm not certain. My second question is, this TC has 6 mounting pads; however, only three of the pad bolt holes line up. The only three are a few MMs off. Could I run it with just the three bolts, or should elongate the other three holes?

I posted a pic of the TC mounted to the FP for reference. The two pads circled in white don't line up, the one circled in red does.

Thanks for your time!

You will only use 3 of the converter bolts. The other pads/bolt circles are there to fit different flexplates.

Can you post a photo of the spacer attached to the flexplate?

appreciate the reply!! Here's a pic of the back of my FP showing the spacer. While I have your attention, the converter I have is: SRLT46391 which has a 3800 stall speed, is it possible to have it restalled to 3000-3200?

thanks again

Post Photos of the other side of the Flex-Plate/ Spacer.
The concern is that the Pilot of the Torque-Converter is supported properly.

You might as well post an Image of the other side of the Torque-Converter as well...
This way everyone else can see what you have.

From the looks of those photos you would not use the slip on spacer. You can confirm this by seeing if the center spacer fits snugly on the pilot on the back of the converter.
