Vibration in 3rd gear

Vibration in 3rd gear Have a 99 camaro 4l60, vibrates the whole car more in 3rd, goes away alot in 4th this is in the same rpm range also. And when turning the driveshaft by hand theres a very noticable sqeal from the tailshaft area, this has been sitting for six years, still wondering if its flat spots on the tires,dr shaft angle,car shakes coasting but a lot more in 3 , even shakes some in 1-2

Imo I would look more at tires than anything especially if it has been sitting for 6 straight years.
The squealing when turning the drive shaft is the low/rev sprag assembly and is normal.
Vibrations are usually more prominent in 3rd due to that being the 1:1 gear.
I would look tawrds new tires and balanced.
I do not think it's trans related......
