Default 4l65E sounds like a misquit0...

So My 4l65E (50 miles on it) is making a noise like a seatbelt buzzer that sounds electronic,, could this be a servo chattering?
Still learning the automatic stuff..

Recently works with a guy who had a buzzing noise similar to what you describe, It was a faulty Pressure control solenoid ,

Thanks! that's where I was leaning, the Trans is working fine, but when running I get the noise.. Figured it was either a solenoid or some signal not holding a solenoid in the correct position.
Its not very loud but since they are inside I suspect they would not be..

When you put a mechanical gauge on the test port how steady should the needle be? Mine has about a 10 lb "wobble" back and forth.. Just thought of it..

That would depend on how steady your idle is. The more steady idle the more steady it will be .

Hmm interesting, I'm running a L33 with truck manifold, stock L33 cam, it "sounds" very smooth at idle,,
I got to wondering if the noise was causing the gauge to wobble.. or the reverse

Its not an expensive gauge either,, initially I just bought one that would show me if it was badly off recommended pressure for initial run tests.

May just have to put a pressure transducer in and wire it up..

I would go with changing the solenoid first .

Yep.. I just hate to pull that pan off.. I'm wondering if my connector flip over heated the coil..
