Default Converter install issue TH400

First off, I'm not a transmission guy. I've installed many but I've never rebuilt one or cared to so I hope you can understand what I'm trying to convey.

I bought a Summit brand 10" converter for a Turbo 400, Yes it's cheap but it's just going into a car I'm selling. The converter will not seat and it doesn't look like it should. On the converter there is a 3/4" to 1" gap between where the input shaft seats and the stator splines are and they also don't look like they are the same at all. I've seated dozens upon dozens of converters but never had this issue. Did Summit send me the wrong Converter or is it something I did?

I found my answer, It's not a normal 400 it's a switch pitch T400, Well that explains it.... Anyone want to buy a new Summit Turbo 400 converter lol
