I do not recommend doing this.

The following Parts will need to be changed to work with a Gen-1 SBC instead of a Gen-3/-4 SBC:

-Input-Shaft.
-Stator-Support/ Pump Assembly.
-Bell-Housing.
-Torque-Converter.
-Flex-Plate.

Transmission Mount, Linkage, and Dip-Stick may have to be changed depending on the vehicle.
Also, if used in a 4x4 application... Output-Shaft, Adapter-Housing, and Transfer-Case also may need to be changed.

Your best bet (for someone not familiar with the differences in these Transmissions) is to obtain an Early Model 1-Piece Case 4L60E for a Gen-1 SBC.
Try and find a 1995 or 1996 Core.

Otherwise just wait till your Gen-3/-4 SBC Engine is ready.

Ok thanks vorteciroc. I have a new converter and flex plate also, just didn't know if it would work. This is a 2wd.
