Question. Which 700R4 performance valve body kit uses a plastic check ball in the valve body?
My neighbor has a 93 Blazer with a snowplow on it. One day he lost forward/reverse. I helped him pull his tranny.
He put a rebuild kit in it since it was out. We put the tranny back in and still no forward or reverse.
I stripped the valve body and, turned up the air and hosed the valve body. I can't remember what orifice I applied air to, but when I did,
something shot out of a valve hole. We found it. It was a deformed plastic check ball with a crease in it. Musta really been stuck.
He put a transgo kit in and was back on the road.
