Default Need a quick answer. Will this slip yoke work with my trans (4l80e)

Can someone pls confirm that this slip yoke will work for my trans. Trans is a newer 4l80e. Here’s a pic of my stock yoke. The u-joint center to end length is 7 3/4. The new yoke I’m looking to purchase has a u-joint center to end length of 5 1/2. It appears that it’ll work but I just need confirmation.

I also attached a pic of the new one.

Btw I confirmed that the tooth count and other dimensions are compatible. Here’s the PN for the slip yoke 3-3-2431x

Isnt there a min engagement length that the yoke has to overlap the shaft at full suspension sag?

On my jeep, I lift it by the frame to get full droop, make a mark on the yoke, then pull the drive line and see how close to the end its getting.
I just swapped to a fixed yoke on the rear output and went with a slipjoint drive line to avoid carnage.. But I have a LOT of suspension travel.

Would be interesting to try something similar on the cars, on a jeep, there is way less vibration with the fixed yoke and the slip-joint in the driveline.
