Default Slip yoke length 4L80e

Hi guys,
I am going to run a 4L80E trans and I don’t know the proper length yoke. In case it matters….. this is going into a 70 Camaro. I plan on running a Sonnax forged 1350. How long should I get? Overall or barrel length?

thanks,
Jimbo

which output shaft do you have?
assuming 2wd with no o ring for a fixed yoke, I usually prefer "T3-3-5571HP" if you're going with sonnax variety

Thank you Sir
is there a bad side of running the shorter version? I think the barrel is about 3 inches. I do know the one Summit racing sent me was shorter that the one you gave the p/n for.

should I return the short one and get the one you listed?

no it should be fine as long as you have the right length driveshaft and good spline engagement

multiple thousand hp through the short yoke has been done no problem
