Default TH400 to LY6

Hey all,
Working on my first project car. I picked up a built TH400 and a LY6 today. I was also sold a torque converter from the guy I bought the tranny from since he said it would fit the TH400.
He had loosely mentioned something about an adapter to fit the converter onto the LS block.

I went home and held the converter against the fly wheel and I can't seem to get them to line up.

The torque converter is - 24212840

I'm just wondering if anyone with some knowledge about this can help me out. When I google the torque converter it comes back to a BMW one, but that's about all I have for info.

Thanks.

I believe I got it figured out with a help from a friend. So the torque converter fits into the TH400 just fine... The bolt hole diameter is 11.5"

So... Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I just need a LY6 flexplate that has 11.5" holes?

if that's the case, can someone help me find one... I don't really know what I'm looking at.

A few vendors sell a flexplate with multiple bolt holes for different converters..

If you're on a budget just drill your own holes, or oval out the ones that are already there.

Also check the clearance between the rear cover fasteners and the aluminum casting/webbing on the TH400 bell housing. I had to grind mine down on my th350 to LM7. You could also possibly get away with changing the fastener to something with a shorter head. TH400 may be different than mine though.

Still struggling. Been through 2 flexplates now and they're both wrong. I tried slotting my factory one and it looks like I chewed my way through it.
I just ordered this one -

I believe it should work... 3.125'' spacing for crank holes, made for LS and has 11.5'' holes for the TC.

The one I linked worked perfectly, came with a spacer and bolts too. Great deal.
