2010 Texas edition 5.3
Can anyone tell me what transmission the 2010 chevy silverado 1500 Texas edition 5.3 liter rwd 2wd has in it...an also is it compatible with anything I cNt find anything out an I'm desperately needing one thanks.
Should be a 6L80, although GM likes to throw curve-*****, especially when it comes to their trucks. Can you give us a picture of the transmission pan?
To the best of my knowledge, 2010 was the last year for the 4L60, which would result in a drastically different price.

That's the best one I got it's not 4l60 my buddy said 4l65e but idk I keep getting 6l80e all I know is I'm Damn near homeless no income hardly not afraid to work just times have been rough lately.. on the upscale I finally got a good job landed an start Monday at 6am. An can't afford or find a tranny for my truck. Being blessed my grandmother funded a trip to the salvage yard found a 5l40e out of a BMW that looked exactly like mine. Later to find out I t when installing it it wasn't the bell housing 1. Was to small. 2. Didn't match up holes I'm stuck an don't know what else to do
MOST trucks after 2009 got 6l80e but not all trucks.
Some up to 2012 got a 60e still
express vans, colorados, etc also would get 4l60e up to 2012
RPO codes or a quick peek under the truck would quickly tell you what trans you have. I'm from iowa...not familiar with the Texas Edition 2010 truck so I can't speak from experience.
A VIN may also be able to tell us what you have
