Default 2002 cars running stalls without tuning?

Does anyone do this? Is it possible? What converter do you have?

You can do it but your car won't run right. If you decide to get a high stall i think it is best to get the torque management deleted by tuning it.

Not a 2002, but 2001 is the same. I ran a Vig3200 without a hitch, now I run a TCI4400 and no problems. The only concern is when driving in traffic situations or slow up hills, the ECM will throw code P0757 and leave you with only 2nd gear, until you clear the code. But you can put the trans in 3rd and it will not throw a code at all. You do not need to delete TM, I still have it I just disable the code P0757. You don't need programming to run a 4400 stall converter, just have to learn to drive a high stalled '01-'02 F-body properly.
