Default 2012 Express 1500 4l60e Interchange Help

I've searched the internet and have read through a couple of threads here. I think I have a handle on the information but some reassurance would be great.

The van listed above is a service truck in my small fleet. The transmission went out and I need a used replacement asap. I know a rebuild is better but it's not an option in this situation.

Can I use any 4l60e that's 2008 or newer from behind a v6 2wd? Did I get the year right? Is there anything outside this range that will work?

I appreciate the help in advance. I'm sure if I spent hours upon hours researching, I could answer this question myself but it would be fantastic if someone who already knew the answer could save me the time.

2009 and Up, is what you need.

What Engine is in your Express?
Is your Express Rear Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive, or a Third-Party (Quigley 4x4) Four Wheel Drive?

Thanks for the response. My vehicle information is in the title. It's a 2012 Express 1500 v6 2wd. The OEM transmission is labeled 2CBD, if that helps.

Thanks.
Yes your Broadcast Code comes back as a 4.3L Chevrolet (90-Degree) V6, Rear Wheel Drive, G/H Platform Vehicle.

Unfortunately you have very, very few options here.
The ONLY 4L60E Family (4L60E/ 4L65E/ 4L70E) Transmissions that will fit your Vehicle are 2009 and Up, Rear Wheel Drive Units, that are made to fit a 4.3L Chevrolet (90-Degree) V6 Engine.
Very few of these Transmissions were produced.

Years ago the Bellhousing, Turbine-Shaft, Stator-Support, and Torque-Converter (that fit your application) would also fit the 350/ 5.7L Chevrolet V8 Engines.
But there have not been any of those Engines in New Vehicles for 20-Years.

So other than cheap Model Full-Size Pick-Up Trucks and Vans (2009 and Up, Two Wheel Drive) there is nothing else that will fit your Vehicle.
Silverado/ Sierra 1500 Trucks, and Express/ Savana 1500 Vans with a 4.3L Chevrolet (90-Degree) V6...
Are the ONLY choices you have...
Sadly very few of these were produced.

Good luck!

VortecIroc, I really appreciate the information. I have one more question if you don't mind.

I located and purchased a 4l60e out of an 09 4.2 2wd trailblazer assuming it would work based on Year, 6Cyl, and Tailshaft. I had no idea that GM had a 4.2 and a 4.3.

How do these 2 transmissions differ(divide)? I have the trans that came out of the Express so I would be willingly to swap parts if it's something straight forward. Thanks again for your time!!

The 2009 Two Wheel Drive Trail-Blazer 4L70E Transmission, uses the wrong:
-Bell-Housing.
-Turbine-Shaft/ Input Drum Assembly.
-Stator-Support/ Pump Assembly.
-Torque-Converter.

I believe that the Oil-Pan and Oil-Filter are also different... but that is straight forward to replace.

Approximately 50% of the Transmission needs to be disassembled to Swap over the Incompatible Parts that I listed.
