Red face 4L60E Valve Body Casting Differences

Hi I'm Nicole, again, I am new to the whole forum thing. I'm doing inventory in my shop and I was hoping someone here could point me to a 4L60E valve body casting design change reference. Specifically 2003-2005. I'm aware of spacer plate differences and gasket changes but casting?? I know the overhaul kits are different, but will a 2003 casting interchange with a 2005-bothj with newer type EPC. I also am aware of the annular lock up port differences in casting, but I want to make damn sure these two interchange. Info out there is scarce, or I just don't have the patience.
Any nudge in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you.
I found it as soon as I posted the damn question. Happens to me constantly. I just started my transmission business last August. I am basically learning as I go, I need to find a mentor for questions-I guess that's why I'm here. Nearly all of the information that has moved my knowledge forward comes from here. So, thank you, to Everyone here. I wish I had more time to put some sh** up on my profile, but I hate technology. Guess that's why I am such a gear head.

As for the casting itself. 1993 - 1995. They will use the early type manual valve and not have an exhaust hole in the casting over the manual valve. The 1996 - 2006 castings are pretty much the same with the different manual valve and the exhaust hole in the casting over the manual valve was in all of the castings from 1996. The differences were the 1993 - 1994 valve body was a non pwm type. The 1995 was a pwm type and all its own. 1996 - 2006 were all pwm and had minor changes in a couple of the valves. The later the valve body, more of the valves were anodized aluminum instead of steel.

Thank you, this puts things into perspective. Now I have questions regarding the 2005 oil pump changes. The 5SDD core I tore down had no fluid in servo or pump at all. I think I'll post another thread, this was difficult to learn on my own as well.
