4l80e rebuild kit for 800whp?
or you need to spend the money with Jake's Performance, PBA, etc on a rebuild kit where they package it up and send instructions
You want an option like that...you'll pay accordingly for the experience and convenience
I also recommend buying a kit from Jakes or Performabilt. I don't recommend just throwing parts together based off a parts diagram that you looked at to save $50-$100
A parts diagram doesn't tell you things like:
-How a RELIGNED reverse band has a better chance of not cracking compared to an aftermarket reverse band
-How bonded pistons that say "national seal" on them are probably better than ones that don't depending on where they are sourced
-The importance of having a boost spring that actually has good quality control and pressure that doesn't fluctuate
The guys above putting together these kits know which parts work and are proven, and know which parts have been having QC issues as of late.
I have no problems with people wanting to search for Deals or try to find a low Price for Parts.
However, when a Builder has made investments (Time - Money) to Design/ Engineer a "Kit"
(Solving Problems, Improving Designs, Creating Designs, Hydraulic or Hard-Parts)...
Which is all a Service (what Business-People refer to as an: "Unseen Service")...
Do NOT Cry about having to pay for it!
Regardless of what some may believe; everyone's Time is worth something!
...and We All need to make a living!
