Hurt 4l80e, need some help So I will explain my issue I’m experiencing. Basically I was at a stop sign, spooled it and left probably at 4k rpm’s. I was in D and 2wd. It spun a decent bit but when it went to click into 2nd it shifted like dog **** and harder than ever. I immediately let off and coasted up into a parking lot. The truck felt a little strange coasting. Had a slight whine too it that you could hard hear. I went to give it throttle and it started whining loud and it was really grabby or almost lurches forward. Trans temps were hot but nothing that I wasn’t used to seeing after beating on it. 180-190. I let it cool down for 45, started it back up and went to try and limp it home. It did the exact same whine all through 1st, it sounded different in the rpm’s in 1st also. Then when it goes to shift into 2nd it’s a pretty hard shift. After that it’s perfectly normal drives like it always has. It just feels like 1st gear or a converter. Any input on what I broke or damaged would be great from you guys. Thank you for reading!
