Shifting hard 2008 Silverado very hard shift from first to second, all other gears are fine. Started this a while back every so often now its every time. The whole cluster works with the exception of the tach it stays at 0. Was seeing if anyone had any ideas on what to check or look for.

might want to check the serial lines it could definitely be behind the hard shifting and no tach info going to the cluster also if you’ve had the pcm swapped and not had the vin in it changed to your vin (might seem completely unrelated but it’s a very common cause I’ve seen on stock setups with swapped pcms).
