9L80E to old gen LS?

9L80E to old gen LS? So, I'd need a custom cross member. But would a gen 3 ls and converter bolt up to the new 10 speed transmissions?
What would I need to make it shift? How would I adapt the ecu? Has this been done yet?

Never heard of a GM 9L80E transmission.
There is a 8L90E transmission that's been used in Corvette's, Camaro's and trucks. It uses a lot of CAN (car area network) data to function and requires many electronic control modules and sensors to function properly. Uses a different torque converter than the 4L60E. Won't work with a Gen III PCM from what I've read. That may have changed in last while etc.
Speartech has control boxes, software, transmission, engines etc to do swap.
