I used a mechanical gauge and the transducer at the same time during the initial checks. I didn't just only use the transducer.

The mechanical gauge was bouncing all over the place, so I was working with the transducer trying to reduce the noise to get an idea on what was going on.
Hooking the transducer through the EGR wires instead of as an input on the MPVI resulted in less noise.

Here's the original vid of the mechanical gauge.

After watching several videos of trans pressure readings on youtube showing very stable dial movement, I don't recommend the ATD gauge. (a search on here for trans pressure mechanical gauge recommendations came up with this, so that's what I purchased)

I have a Matco ATG500k now and will hook it up once the weather warms up again and test at the same time as the transducer.

From what I've read on this setup with a blocked EPC, high line pressure can only occur due to worn components in the pressure regulator bore. All those were replaced with new OE parts and a new o-ringed end plug.

Time will tell.

Why did you removed the Sonnax boost valve? it has o-rings that help seal up the bore if it is worn.

It was removed because the sonnax LB1 setup increases pressure. The o-ringed sleeve is nice, but I wanted to see where it would be at with a blocked EPC and all new stock parts other than the o-ringed sonnax end plug and adjust from there.

The plan is to measure with a GOOD mechanical gauge with the transducer also hooked up and then determine next steps.

I was also looking at these adjustable setups. No o-rings.

a leak at the boost valve side would lower pressure. it's the PR side leaking that causes high line psi. I think you're onto something with a bit nicer manual gauge. I have a wika dampened gauge that i got off ebay sometime ago. I use it to baseline my stuff if a sensor seems wonky.

Forgot to update this.
As suspected, mechanical gauge was garbage. Transducer was not accurate either. After testing with a Matco ATG500K as seen in the video, results are MUCH better.

Jakes D3+ VB
Jakes EPC block off plug
All new stock parts in the pressure regulator valve bore except a Sonnax 34200-05K o-ringed end plug.
Line to lube drilled .093

Note the idle pressure not being 80-100 psi. This car doesn't idle at 500-600 rpm.... idle is set higher at 1000 rpm or so and pressures at idle are higher as a result of this. Also pump vac tested perfectly. Note the 210 psi at 2000 rpm or so in each gear. Nice and consistent max line pressure at 210 psi. Transbrake works perfect. Car shifts perfect into each gear on the road when you get on it and pressure stays right at 210 psi when getting on it and at wot. Pressure momentarily drops when shifting in each gear as it should. When cruising around if feels like a stock 4L80E shifting but when you get on it the shifts are firm and perfect. 3600 stall.
