Default pressure sensor

is it possible to instal a pressure sensor on 99 c5 without dropping the exhaust?

i think i have identified it, more or less above the pivot bolt of the shift level but how to get to it is beyond me.btw, is it 1/4" npt?

Are you asking about installing an external line pressure sensor? If this is the case the port is 1/8 NPT. I can't say what is needed to access the port.

It is indeed a 1/8 NPT Plug...

But the Transmission is all the way in the back of the Corvette, attached directly to the Rear differential.

Low dollars pressure sensors fit pretty well on a 4l60, I put an elbow in and ran 3' of
AN line up to the top of the motor and its mounted one of the Fuel rail bolts.
This is inn a jeep swap, I wanted the sensor where it would not get hit..
The AN line lays solid agains the tranny and was easy to tuck.

unless somebody sais hes done it ill leave it alone. (i not going to mess with an exhaus thats been on there for 25 years for this.)

pdx, thats a good idea, ill keep it in mind. do you, btw, see a lot of noise/pulsing on the sensor signal? i guess the rubber line helps.

I haven't noticed any jitter on the Holley glass dash, I mainly put mine in so I could use the pressure to set an alert if it went too low,
(I burnt a transmission up due to a idiot move on my part,,, I would have caught the issue if I realized how low the pressure was... )
I don't have the refresh at a crazy rate either. I should have mentioned its run by a Terminator X Max with the glass dash.
The AN line is rated 2500 psi, I've played with them before on brake systems that had pressure monitoring, surprisingly stable.
