2-3/4 out on 4l70e
I guess alot of people come here and leave for awhile after fixing there problem well im here for good with the way i drive lol or maybe its the way i work on my vehicles! 3rd and 4thout on my 4l70e is it a solenoid issue or did i burn up the rubber gasket on the inside of the drum where the 3rd and od clutches lye? On the way back from west TX my transmission hose splice i did after thinking locally i could get a barb for the transmission cooler line return as i damaged it pulling the block a second time. i ended up cutting the line knowing i can find hose that works but i chose some 40yr old hose in the shop leftover from his passed son probably cursed lol. I love the man no harm meant. The hose held an entire week of driving i did the transmission build 20k ago as well. 6 hours into my trip back from west tx to corpus area the line blew i noticed pretty fast pulled on the side of the highway near kerville and replaced it with leftover in ted lmao didnt even last 20 minutes losing more and carrying an entire 5 quarts but it got me thru San Antonio. replaced the line again and ended up losing all the fluid the third time. oriellys and towing got me home after a fluid top up transmission worked for a few days before 3/4 went out. 2008 silverado quadcab 6.0 4x4 4l70e replaced the transmission about 20k ago but with my recent trip to west tx to replace a shitty rebuilt block cheapest bearings 2 part metal silicon or whatever and even had 2 shallow installed timeserts i may have a photo or 2 somewhere if i get on my home but so happy to back at my computer i hate holding a phone mine has actually been playing music all day with my dog passed out next to me... The work was done incorrectly i found a new block (6.0) had trouble with oil pressure 1st install pulled the block replaced o ring was trying to do oil pressure test on the stand for nearly a week before figuring out on a ls7 cam gen 4 combo u have to have the rockers and pushrods installed to get oil pressure or the lifters are to high and the oil pressure bleads into the bottom of the cam casing walls. Ive always been willing to learn please help.
1st off, Man that is hard to read. Next post try using punctuation and breaking it up into paragraphs.
Most likely the 3-4 clutches have burned up from running low of fluid. I'm afraid it is time for a rebuild.

Your head be better hurt from thinking on a way to make a 4L60e - a 6 speed transmission hahah.
Ehh, 2023 is here and i feel like 4 speed isnt enough anymore...
Im tired of cruising at 4500 RPM on 100 mph (And thats before regearing to 4.56. Currently 3.73).
