New to LS1Tech Hey guys, my name is Jim. I have 2 69 Camaros. 1standard coupe and 1 Z28. Also have 66 Stingray. Z28 has a 6.0 the Stingray has a 383 and the 69 Coupe has a 2001 ls. with auto tranny. I built the coupe in 2005 with an LS with automatic out of a 2001 firebird. Street and performance, which went out of business years ago, did the computer and harness. when slowing down you can feel the tranny down shifting instead of freewheeling. Does anyone have any idea which wire or port to hook up to the brake light switch to unlock the converter? I built this for my son who drives it Maybe once a year. (Computer Gamer) ( Heartbreak) I take it out once every 4 or 5 months, wash it, gas it up and put it back in the shop. The downshifting is kind of annoying, so if anyone has any ideas it would really be appreciated.
