Funny I find this thread after I spent hours trying figure it out last night with the information left in the other thread. My theory left the #5 check ball and removed #6 for full flow/pressure to overrun clutches in case of any cross leaks etc.

Yes you are correct but if you don't block the holes left by removal of the check *****. You will back feed circuits and have one heck of a mess.

Yes the two bath tub holes must be blocked, As for the overrun ball, I generally leave it in place as the way I feed is pretty small anyway and I also worried that even with a larger feed the 4-3 downshift might become annoyingly clunky

I was referring to the way tayto and I “discovered” from the other thread. I appreciate the corrections maybe you were thinking I was referring to the way that you were explaining it be done. I see how yours works as well I believe. It is difficult to know 100% as I don’t have a valve body available to look at. Just the diagrams
