Default Converter recommendations

I'm looking for a recommendation on a street friendly 4l60e converter with lockup.

Ideally I'd like to stay in the $500 range

Per summit "A 2500 rpm stall converter is recommended, but not required"

1970 tempest, nice weather daily
6.0 LQ9 with 862 heads so probably about 11.5:1,
Summit Cam (8715R1) 222/234 115+3,.600/.575 Lift.
3.55 posi, 27" tire

Along the top of the page there is a "vendor directory"
Go look there

@FTI Converters is a supporter of this section of the forum and they make a nice product

You can get a decent converter for $500, but spending another $200 for a $700 converter will give you similar performance boost to spending another $1000 on the engine.
No one here has ever regretted spending the $700+ on a converter, but plenty have regretted spending less at first and then buying the better one later.

Thanks! I've been emailing FTI and they've been helpful.
