Default Another 4l80 yoke post

My trans is in the car and I didn’t bother pulling the tail shaft housing off before hand. The trans is from a 03 2500 2wd. I have the slip yoke it came with which is a spicer c3-3-569 5.5”. Does anyone know of a ujoint that will mate a 1410 yoke to a stock driveshaft or will I be okay with the th400 slip yoke?

the trans you installed is a 4l80e?

i guess the answer is yes. why else would you start the thread with 4l80. my bad. doesn't the length of a 4l80 compared to a th400 require a custom driveshaft?

I'm not familiar with U joint numbering, but I used this ujoint on my 99 Silverado 1500 4L80e swap. It allows to you to use the stock u joint, which I think it's a S44 or something like that on those trucks.

There should be a yoke on their website that will work for your application. You can always those folks.

4l80e should be 2" longer than th400, so this would make the drive shaft length different by at least 2"

The slip yoke you have pictured is for a full splined output shaft.

Because you know what it is from. You could ask at most parts stores for a conversion joint from that to another vehicle.
Make sure that they look in the paper catalog in the back is the conversion joints. They list by the 1350 or 1310 sizes. Get a part # for both vehicles/size and go to back of the catalog. Computer look up at this point is useless. Ask for the commercial guy if needed they are usually the most knowledgeable people there.
