4l60e question
4l60e question A friend of mine 4l60e transmission went bad in his blazer with a 4.3. He bought one from a junk yard for a 5.3. can he just change bell housing? Or is there more to making it work?

Nope more, its has not only wrong bell but input shaft, pump and conveter.

We really need to know the year of the Blazer and the donor trans. Pictures would be useful too.
If the bell housing changed, then other things changed too.
Without knowing more, I would say "unlikely".
