Default How much rotational slop in 4L60E

Just finishing up my boosted L33 with somewhat stock 4l60e (trans was rebuilt a few years ago with "upgraded" parts but don't know what that means, probably not much).

When I rotate the drive shaft (everything assembled) and the car is in PARK, it has rotational slop of like 1 inch hand rotation and clunks pretty loud in the transmission seemingly from above the front/middle of the pan when rotated both clockwise and counterclockwise hitting the stop each way. Hard to describe, but there's also enough rotational slop that makes it clunk going into drive/reverse, not super loud but noticeable. I think it's been doing it a while but not certain.

I not talking about up/down or left/right shaft movement, just rotational slop.

Is this normal? Confirmed clunk is not ujoint or diff, car is on a lift so very clear it's inside the transmission.

Runs good otherwise, no slip even with almost 500hp, and a lot of recent drag radial street test launches. Am considering bumping up the power to just over 500 this week, never revved above 6200. But the clunk worries me.

Thank you!!!

Some rotation is normal, but that does sound a little on the loose side.

Do any of you smart guys think that this could be an anti-clunk spring left out/ broken?

Bump... I just hope it's something that's not breaking due to my horsepower increase, but more importantly safe at the track at 125mph (wishful).

I am guessing missing or broken anticlunk spring or it has been replaced with case saver of was in gear. Though in park doubt even that as you are actually hitting the park paw so that would have to be your clunk sound and it does indeed have a good bit of play so likely normal .
