Th350c Thanks in advance. Trying to figure out why th350c won’t shift into 3rd after I did ls swap in truck? no kick down cable installed. Actually it’s fully engaged by use of fishing sinker. Anyways. Lil background. 81 squarebody Just got done with ls1 swap and it won’t shift in drive. Only manually and still won’t shift into 3rd. Fluid and filter change Had a 350 in truck and trans worked fine. Any ideas to point me in to start?

Yes mod is hooked up to vacuum on ls1 intake. And meaning I pulled kickdown cable on the end as far as it would move out and clipped a sinker on the sure to stop it from coming back in. Also changed gears in rear end to 373 and had to change flywheel so I had to disconnect shift rod. Could adjustment just be out on linkage? Doesn’t make sense cause it worked fine with the 350sb

verify the linkage is setup correctly who knows what you did during the swap. maybe the transmission is further ahead or further back depending on the engine mounts you used? maybe the pointer on the truck isnt set right
