torque converter choice
Hey there I am new to this forum. I have a 2013 Silverado 5.3 with the 6l80, 3.42 gears, with 275/65 r18 tires and weighs about 5800lbs. I am looking at putting in the truck norris cam which is said to be friendly with stock torque converters but i have heard otherwise for drivability concerns. The cam specs are 212/224 in/ex duration, .552/.552 lift, and 107 lsa. I was looking at a billet circle d 300mm 2400-2600 stall or 2600-2800 stall or would a 2800-3000 be better? Thanks in advance
I would call Circle D, Yank and any other converter manufacturer you might purchase from. They will give you the information you want after you answer the questions about your vehicle and it's intended use.

I run a 3200 Circle D in mine. I tow with it as well. Gear swaps make converters much more driveable and help a ton. Consider adding those to the mod list.
