Some M6 to A3 Qs

Some M6 to A3 Qs I have been doing research on the topic and have some Qs.
What diveshaft do I need? It is unclear if I can use the one I have or another. Can I find one in the junk yard? Am I going to need LS1 edit to make this work?

P.S. I was hoping for a cheep and easy way to do this, but so far it doesn't seem worth it. I was thinking of a temp job on this. A season or two.
I mean:
$200 to convert the speedo
$200 for a shifter
$300 for a verter
$??? for flywheel, driveshaft...
$400 for torque arm.
Not to mension the trans itself. I have one but it has over 100K on it and needs to be rebuilt.

Here is a list I have so far for a T-56 to TH350:
build a torque arm relocation bracket
TH350 w/ 9" tail will use stock T56 driveshaft
TH350 small bolt pattern converter w/ls1 pilot
Tranny Cooler
Use Stock T56 Crossmember w/ spacers or BMR TH350 crossmember
'98 Flexplate
Shifter (I chose B&M QuickSilver)
MADMAN Dipstick
LOKAR dipstick
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong on anything.
I bought a complete rebuild kit with all the bushings, sprag, filter, HD drum, upgraded clutches, and cooler from my buddy for $275 bucks. bought a core for $75

Wow, this is all very usefull. But I thought you had to use a flex plate from a '01+6.0. How difficult is it to rebuild one of these? I am mechanically inclined, but not a tech. Does this require special tools? Going auto for a while would be fun.

The M6 driveshaft will work with the 9" tail TH350 and use the same crossmember as the T56 but with spacers. At least thats what I have at the moment. I am installing them in a few weeks and I'll tell you.
