4l80e cooler size I just did a 4l80e swap, wanted to know if my cooler has enough cooling capacity since I didn’t get the same one other guys run,

.186L per row advertised capacity. I am running -6 lines. It’s cold now so I don’t have a problem now but I’m worried come summer I’ll have a problem. How can I monitor trans temps, recommendations?

Install an aftermarket trans temp gauge and sensor in the pan using a Derale 13010 bung or use software like HP tuners to monitor the temp sensor that's built into the factory internal wiring harness.
If your cooler isn't good enough, the trucool 40k is where it's at. You can try putting a fan on the one you have. Needs to be mounted where air can get to it, not blocked by a rad or condenser.

It’s not blocked now, would an intercooler cause a problem when I go turbo? I’ll do the sensor with my shift kit. Didn’t know if anyone knew if about the size cooler I have would work. Time will tell
I've seen first hand a in a 4th gen fbody that had a big intercooler at the very front and the owner of the car had a Derale cooler that was "highly recommended" located behind the intercooler with a fan on it. On intial test drive after the install the temps were way too high with the 4L80E that I had built for him, and I started getting worried that I messed something up in the build lol. We installed the truecool40K in the same location BEHIND the intercooler because the intercooler looks good behind the bumper and the temps went way down to where they should be. I have a truecool 40k on mine and the temps never got above 153 and that's in 90 deg heat beating the hell out of it. Rad is bypassed, single disk lockup.

One of these with a 160 thermal switch and you should be good. I have one on my car and man they move alot of air / Just set up om relay to thermal switch works great https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
