I have a monster 4l65 trans that the guy i bout it from said that the dipstick should be over full because it has a deep trans pan on it . Which i think just because you have a deep pan it should still stay the same on the dipstick . Unless they used the old dipstick tube from the last 4l60 …. I heard that the 4l65 trans came with a deep pan already but still only held 5 qts . Ive got 6 in it right now and it shows over full on the dipstick . Someone please help

I've got a question for you, before I answer: Are you a bot?
I ask because:
(1) your post would make a freshman English teacher slit her wrists,
(2) you only have ONE post in your whole history,
(3) this site has been flooded with bots in the last few months.
If you give a coherent response, we'll give you a good answer.

The dipstick level will be the same as the shallow pan, the depth of the pan does not change full level of the fluid. Are you checking your fluid level with the engine running and trans in park?
