P0740 Code P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit/Open Circuit Malfunction
So I changed the internal transmission harness, TCC solenoid, and the PWM solenoid. (5.3 with chopacobra cam with stock converter)
The code still persists. Trans was bought with 160k miles from 2002 trans am/ls1 with no modifications.
I have HP Tuners I commanded the lock up solenoid and still does it.
Next step new torque converter or just get new trans? NEED Help lol

P0740 is an electrical code. Could a wire be pinched or shorted? Loop the cooler lines together and bypass the transmission cooler. If it still stalls the engine, It's internal. Then it will probably need a transmission rebuild including a converter.
