Having some trouble pressing on the rear Reluctor to make a 4x4 unit into a 2wd. I used a 6-ton press and it laughed at me. Tried to press it on with my friends 10-ton press and it still won't move. So before we try a 20-ton press I just wanted to ask if they are this difficult. I have another planet w/reluctor as a reference. Pic below...
I didn't realize they needed to be machined. Dang. Well it will be fun to take off.
Well usually they are but sometimes I have run into 4x4 united where they were not , They were partially machined for the noise suppression ring that used to go in 400s but were not machined far enough to fully install the reluctor . That of someone put a 400 planet in which would work as long as you didn't need the reluctor .
