Will a 4.3 V6 4L60 work with 02 ls Hi I'm asking for a friend so any help will be appreciated. He has a 4l60 from a 99 blazer that had the 4.3
He's wanting to.put it in his 02 firebird with the LS. What all parts will.he need to do the swap? Flexplate and spacer? Part number for the spacer plz.

It'll work with the proper Convetor but it'll sit shorter than the 4L60E that needs to be in that car so there will be a Driveshaft issue.

Get a crank spacer. Open up the stock LS flex plate holes to match bolt pad of the original 4.3 converter. And it should work. Some 4.3 4l60e already had a LS style converter and 300mm input shaft. Easy way to tell is remove the converter and look at input shaft.
It will be either a 298mm or 300mm tht will help with how to move around
