Default 2/4 servo

1st off I'd like to thank everyone on here for their help, It's been 5 years since I built my last trans with the great information on this forum and that trans is still going strong.
I have made up a tool to help check band clearance, how much pressure should I apply on the 2/4 servo cover when measuring band clearance?
Push until it stops or is there a torque value I can use.

Well fully applied will be when it stops for 4th gear. So that would be where you should stop. However regardless of your measurement always make sure output shaft will turn by hand both ways, One way will be a bit more difficult than the other but with trans horizontal you should be able to turn by hand. In any position but park.

Thanks, at full apply with a fair amount of force I get 0.072" when released the drum only has a small amount of drag when turning, so I will leave it at that.
