4l60e shift kit install - boost valve stuck?
I have a 2003 4l60e that I'm working on and am doing the last step in a shift kit install. I have the snap ring off the boost valve, but the boost valve will not drop out. It drops down maybe a half an inch, 3/4 of an inch or so and then stops. If I push it up and pull it back down it stops abruptly at the same spot and I hear a metal on metal "clink". I haven't wanted to give it too much hell but have pulled pretty hard on the nipple on the end of the valve and it won't budge. Weird issue, I haven't read of many others having this. Any secrets to removal?
